Desmond Tutu™ rose is part of the easy to grow Sunbelt® series of roses. A vigorous rose that produces bouquets of non-fading, lustrous, double petaled, deep velvet red blooms. Desmond Tutu™ rose grows to 3-4 feet wide and 3-4 feet tall. The form is a nice compact bushy shrub that is ideal for planting in groups to form a flowering hedge, or for use in the rose or perennial garden. Foliage is very disease resistant. Additionally, this rose has been observed to perform well in hot and dry climates and is part of Kordes North America Sunbelt® collection. This rose was the recipient of the Australia - Best Shrub Rose award in 2012. Grown as an own root rose. PPAF
