Description
The tropical boxwood ("Neea Buxifolia") is a versatile bonsai tree native to Puerto Rico. It's a member of the Bouganvillea family, with leaves about one quarter inch long and oblong with a rounded apex.
This boxwood is especially attractive during the growing season, as the new shoots form with a deep red color.
In the spring and summer, it will show off small and delicate flowers, maturing to a red berry later in the summer.
This tropical gem is great for indoors.
