A perfectly shaped iris incorporating shades of red, red bronze and deeper brick red all on large ruffled bloom. Proud bronze red standards are outwardly ruffled atop falls with brick red centers and bronze red edging. Just stunning with bright gold beards. As if the coloration was not enough, Valentino is wonderfully fragrant with a unique, pleasing aroma. Early mid-season bloomer. Grows to 36" tall in height and is hardy for zones 3-10. A vigorous perennial plant it will return each spring, and multiply each year, providing you with a reliable abundance of blooms. Strong stems make this a great cut flower!
