Yuki Cherry Blossom® Deutzia is the first 'Nikko'-type deutzia in true pink, and it took more than ten years to develop. In spring, the neat mounded plant disappears under a shower of small, bell-shaped pink flowers that hummingbirds notice long before you do. Green summer foliage shifts to burgundy-purple in fall, so the show lasts well past bloom time.

Topping out around 1-2 feet tall and just as wide, it works as a flowering groundcover, a low edging along walks, or a mass planting to hold a sunny slope where mowing is a chore. It also makes a tidy filler in patio containers and mixed pots.
