Planting and Harvest

Plant in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil, following the depth and spacing guidance supplied with your order. Plant the shallot sets in fall. Their harvested bulbs can be separated into individual shallots after curing.

Bulb size, clove count, wrapper color, harvest timing, and storage life vary with climate, soil, planting date, and curing conditions.
