A stunning iris with Hollywood Nights and Black Tie Affair as a parents, this hardy iris will not disappoint! Inky black-purple standards and falls are heavily ruffled and sweetly fragrant. Deep, navy blue beards offer just the right accent. Mid-season to late season bloomer. Grows to 31" tall in height and is hardy for zones 3-10. A vigorous perennial plant it will return each spring, and multiply each year, providing you with a reliable abundance of blooms. Strong stems make this a great cut flower!

Update: 5/17 the Iris has started blooming. However it is more dark purple than black. 😕
