Bluecrop Blueberry (Mid Harvest)

Bluecrop is a midseason Northern Highbush blueberry with medium-to-large, light-blue berries. The fruit is firm, resists cracking, and has a balanced blueberry flavor when fully ripe. Vigorous, upright plants are widely grown in home and commercial plantings.

Pollination

Planting and Care

Plant in full sun and acidic, well-drained soil, ideally around pH 4.5–5.5. Maintain even moisture and mulch the shallow root zone. Bluecrop can overcrop, so annual pruning and fruiting-wood renewal help maintain berry size. Allow berries to color and sweeten fully before picking; fruit can remain tart when picked early or when plants carry too much crop.
