Hollywood Juniper Tree Live Plant Privacy Hedge Screening Hardy Landscape

A living piece of sculpture: the Hollywood Juniper twists and reaches in bold, irregular tiers that give your landscape instant character and year-round green.

The Hollywood Juniper (Juniperus chinensis 'Kaizuka') is an upright evergreen prized for its dramatic, windswept silhouette. Rich deep-green foliage grows in dense, flame-like sprays along gracefully curving branches that twist upward as the plant matures. At a moderate pace it reaches roughly 15 feet tall and 10 feet wide, holding an irregular, sculptural habit that no two specimens repeat exactly. It earns its place as a standout focal point, an informal screen, or a tough, sun-loving anchor in coastal and dry-climate gardens.

Why growers choose the Hollywood Juniper

• Sculptural year-round structure. Twisting, tiered branches and dense green foliage hold their shape and color through every season, giving the garden form even in winter.
• Genuinely tough. Once established it shrugs off drought, heat, and poor soils, making it one of the more dependable evergreens for difficult sites.
• Salt and coastal tolerance. It handles seaside exposure and reflected heat well, thriving where many evergreens struggle.
• Deer tend to leave it alone. Like most junipers, its resinous foliage is generally low on the deer menu.
• Low maintenance. No regular shearing required to look its best; its natural form is the whole point.

Use a single Hollywood Juniper as a specimen by an entry, corner, or courtyard where its form can be seen, or set several in a loose row for an informal, characterful screen along a property line.
