Jewel Blueberry is an early-ripening southern highbush cultivar selected for low-chill gardens. It produces medium-to-large, firm, medium-blue berries with a good, slightly tart flavor.

Growing Jewel Blueberry
Plant in full sun and acidic, well-drained soil with ample organic matter. Keep roots evenly moist without waterlogging. Jewel blooms very early, so gardeners in frost-prone areas should be prepared to protect blossoms during late cold events.
